"Who's there?"
"Banana."
"Banana, who?"
"Banana orange! Ha ha ha ha ha..."
It is Lola's first joke and she cannot get enough of telling it. She thinks it's hilarious. So do I. It is not so much the joke itself though, it is the delivery that does it for me. It is a good thing we are related and share a silly sense of humor, because I have a feeling this is the first of many, many Knock, knock jokes...

LOVE that phase! My sons used to spend the ENTIRE 15 minute drive home from church taking turns telling knock knock jokes! Of course I laughed at all of them--even the really dumb ones.
Oh, she and Elisabeth are going to have a TIME together next week! The jokes (funny only to them, of course) will be flying fast and furious!
My little guy has recently gotten in to knock knock jokes lately. He, too, thinks everything he comes up with is funny.
My baby girl just walks around saying "knock, knock, knock, knock" trying to be like her big brother.
